Political Culture and 2021 Elections in Puebla: Opinion Study

Abstract

This research work gathers the opinion of a sample of citizens about the 2021 elections in Puebla de Zaragoza, Puebla, Mexico. The objective was to obtain data at the local level to contrast them with those of the National Survey of Civic Culture (2020) and to analyze changes in citizen perception of political parties and democracy. In the results, both at the local and national levels, a decrease in the perception of democratic values, institutions and the government of the state of Puebla was found.
